On a dare, my crew mates at the station had me try to cut a penny. I was skeptical, but figured it was worth the risk. AND IT DID IT!!!! Not only that, it held its edge! They are still sharp! No flat spots. I feel bad undercutting Leatherman (American company) but I can't justify spending 4x the price for these amazing shears!
I bought these to use at work for cutting through flex cuffs and jumpsuits, because the normal trauma shears wear out very quickly.I have done side-by-side comparisons between these shears and a pair of Leatherman Raptor shears that a co worker has.Besides the obvious brand stamping on the raptor, these are an almost identical copy in both build quality and functionality.I am very happy with them, and would purchase these again without hesitation.

Really wanted to give 5 stars. It's great value for the price. Oxygen wrench is attached to the seatbelt cutter which is decently sharp. However when you close the scissors it partially opens up.
Clip is fantastic, very stiff so it holds great.
They'll cut pretty much anything you need them to. Used on fiber optic cable (12count) that has two 1/8inch fiberglass rods. Cut right through. Folding mechanism is nice, they've locked every time. And no sharp edges.
The case isn't the same as others, however I wanted it for a flashlight so it works great for me. Let's you keep them opened as well. You can put them in either direction as well without catching on the clip. At least I have.
I'm always looking for a bargain. I purchased these trauma shears because I couldn't afford the $100 Leatherman version. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and utility of these. Two weeks later one of my adult children bought me the original Leatherman version. After doing a side by side comparison of the two I am convinced that there is no appreciable difference. These shears even fit perfectly in the Leatherman scabbard and I actually prefer their belt attachment over the Leatherman original. A great bargain in my opinion.
