Compressed gauze is extremely useful. You can wraps or pack wounds with it. Their brand I've been using more and more of late and I'm impressed with their products especially for the price. The compressed gauze is a little more expensive than typical rolled gauze but its ability to add to IFAK, medical pouches or medical kits easily, taking less space with more gauze is really good.
I've packed fake wounds in a class with this gauze and it stopped the hemorrhaging with 6 packs/rolled fingers with about 1/2 the compressed gauze to spare.
This compressed gauze is individually sealed and takes little space. I highly recommend these for any IFAK or medical kit. Takes up a 2"x3" space with a little overhang from the packaging.
Buy these... you're gonna need gauze at some point in your life, and for most civilians, this is a huge afterthought! You never have enough gauze when you have a platoon sized family to look after, and these guys made it easily affordable and convenient to purchase and carry.
The bag has really good quality, strong material. The content of the IFAK of great quality, i proved myself the tourniquet and chest seals and works PERFECT. Totally worthy
The packages are very compact. Have them in my hunting backpack. I have them as part of my first aid kit. They weigh next to nothing and are sanitary.
They compressed gauze came well packaged with no cuts or rips in the packages. Has bright red easy tear open strips.
Expression date on the ones I got are 2028.
