The mounted outer panel keeps the kit in a consistent vehicle location. When access is needed, the inner pouch releases from the hook-and-loop panel so the complete loadout can be carried where it is needed.

Vehicle Headrest IFAK FAQ
Can the inner pouch be pulled out from either side?
Yes. The rapid-extraction design provides a pull point on either side so the removable inner pouch can be accessed from different seating positions.
What is the difference between Basic and PRO?
Both versions use the same headrest mounting and quick-release pouch system. Compared with Basic, PRO adds chitosan hemostatic gauze, two stitch-free zip closure strips and two adhesive wound dressings, while removing the two compressed gauze packs and triangular bandage. Approximate packed weight is 890 g for PRO and 860 g for Basic.
Will it fit every vehicle headrest?
Fit depends on headrest and seat geometry. The adjustable mount is intended for a vertical headrest circumference of approximately 21-25 inches (53-63 cm). Measure the intended mounting position and confirm that the kit does not interfere with seat controls, airbags or occupant movement.
Should the kit stay mounted while driving?
Only when the mounting panel is properly tightened and the removable pouch is fully secured. Perform a pull check after installation and include the mount in regular vehicle inspections.
Does a pre-filled kit replace medical training?
No. A trauma kit supports preparedness, but it does not replace appropriate first-aid training, emergency services or professional medical care. Review the contents and seek suitable training before relying on any medical supply.
